Driving collaborative innovation to transform the industry
Powered by Girbau Group, Girbau LAB is the space created to generate value beyond laundry through collaborative innovation.
FIX, the material generated from textile washing waste, wins the James Dyson Award 2023.
The FIX project was born from the collaboration between Girbau LAB and Elisava to attract young talent to the company. FIX is the process of recovering textile waste from laundry machines to reduce the release of microplastics into the environment and turn them into a new material.

The message is simple: we need to encourage a change of culture on how we consume resources. And this has been, from the beginning, the goal of 080 Reborn, the first fashion show created with 100% recovered clothing.
